Zébulon et le poussin

Zébulon turns up at MeMo’s with a chick. He wants to be his friend, but, as he looks for him, he becomes more and more disappointed: the mouse, the hen, the bee and the cow tell him to go and look for his chick somewhere else. The first needs her wheat, the others their eggs, honey or butter... But a delicious solution will eventually be found.
Zébulon and the chick is the second of a serie of 3 books.

Zébulon voudrait un ami, tout doux, tout rond, tout gentil. Et là, au bout du chemin, il aperçoit un poussin ! Celui-ci semble le parfait ami. Vite, il court le rejoindre, mais le temps d’arriver, celui-ci s’en est allé. Zébulon ne baisse pas les bras, et part à la recherche de celui-ci, aux quatre coins de la ferme. Mais la souris, la poule, l’abeille et la vache l’envoient chercher son poussin ailleurs.
À chaque page, très graphique, on cherche avec Zébulon un poussin dans une botte de foin… Un poussin parfois trahi par une patte ou un bec ! Heureusement, ce jeu de cache-cache trouvera une conclusion surprenante et gourmande.
