Released in 1992, this little album is a magnificent declaration to love, to the more or less successful attempts to meet others without losing oneself, to the existential questions it raises and to the power of feelings.
The illustrations were made with a stencil and linocut on Japanese paper, in a much smaller format than that of the book.

Cet homme a tout pour être heureux, mais voilà… il est amoureux.
Pour la séduire, il s’ingénie à faire des prouesses : se hisser au sommet d’une pyramide, grimper sans aide aucune un cocotier, chanter des mélopées, porter les bottes à la mode, se vêtir en millionnaire, en lion, en dompteur de lion ?! Rien n’y fait, elle ne daigne lui jeter un regard. Et quand enfin, il réussit à capter son attention, ce n’est pas pour les bonnes raisons. Mais alors, cet amour est-il voué à l’échec ?
Paru en 1992, ce petit album est une magnifique déclaration à l’amour, aux tentatives plus ou moins fructueuses de rencontrer l’autre sans se perdre, aux questionnements existentiels qu’il entraîne et à la puissance des sentiments ressentis.
Les illustrations ont été réalisées au pochoir et linogravure sur papier japon, dans un format bien plus petit que celui du livre.
